Written by Don Moen who is one of the best-known and respected recording artists in the Christian music industry. Moen has earned a worldwide reputation for his work as a songwriter and worship leader who has helped shape today’s modern worship landscape. As a platinum-selling recording artist, he has recorded more than 17 albums which have sold more than 5 million units.

Moen worked for Integrity for over 20 years, serving as creative director, president of Integrity Label Group and an executive producer of Integrity Music albums. He received a Dove Award for his work on the musical ‘God with Us’ in addition to amassing nine nominations for his songs.

I Am the God That Healeth Thee by Don Moen was one of the songs released from a project entitled ‘Give Thanks’ by Hosanna! Music. Give Thanks was recorded during a live worship service at Covenant Church of Mobile, Alabama. The recording featured worship leader, Don Moen, along with choir vocalists and members of the congregation. The focus of the musical release emphasizes God as Jehovah-Rapha, which is translated from the Old Testament as “the Lord, our Healer”. The live recording was followed by an extended time of worship, which included several reports of physical healings.
